- Abstract:
- Based on the study of pharmacognostic characteristics of ceratostigma plumbaginoides bunge, theherb’ s constituents from the petroleum ether - soluble portion in the 95 9 ethanol extract were isolated andpurified respectively by means of chromatography. Five compounds were isolated. And these compounds wereidentifed by modern spectroscopie technology, such as MS, ’H-NMR, "’C-NMR, DEPT and 2D.NMR( HM.BC, HSQC) ete.. They were respectively elucidated as plumbagin ( I ), dis( 2-methylpropyl) ester( l ) ,Acetovanilone( Ⅲ ),β-sitosterol( I),6, 22-dien-3-hydroxy-5,8-epidioxy-(3β, 5a, 8β, 22E,24R)-stig-masta( Y ). Compounds above were isolated for the first time from ceratostigma plumbaginoides bunge exceptplumbagin, The systemalical study provide experimental data for the quality evaluation, clinical use safety andnew medicine development of this specie8.
