- Abstract:

A novel approach to construct accurate and interpretable fuzzy classification system based on fire-works optimization algorithm(FOA) combined with differential evolution operators is proposed.It is the firsttime to apply FOA in fuzzy modeling.The fireworks optimization algorithm is a novel swarm intelligent algo-rithm based on simulating the explosion process of fireworks,which can optimize the construction and parame-ters of fuzzy system with good convergence speed and optimization accuracy.To improve the diversity of theswarm and avoid being trapped in local optima too early ,the differential evolution is performed to further opti-mize the model at each iteration.The proposed approach is applied to the lris benchmark classification prob-lem,and the results prove its validity.
