In this paper, the characteristics of driving technology used in microrobot are introduced. Somekinds of driving technology based on different principles are summarized and the research advancement is pres.ented. Furthermore, some technology problems and prospects in the future are analyzed, The appropriate pro.pulsion methods in different fields are discussed. One way of microrobot’s development is wireless, With thedevelopment of smart material, micromachining and magnetic field driving technology, microrobots have greatpotential for medical applications in the human body
