- Abstract:
- Segmental baffle heat exchangers with different internal structures were investigated numerically．The results indicate that both the shell side pressure drop and heat transfer coemcient increase with the in．crease of the quantity of baffles，and decrease with the increase of height of the baffle cut，but the comprehen—sire characteristics decrease with the increase of the quantity of baffles and increase with the increase of heightof the baffle cut．The distance between the first baffle and tube plate has little influence on the pressure dropbut has great influence on the heat transfer coefficient．
