Abstract:: A distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS) detection algorithm suitable for mobile Ad Hoc networks is proposed, and the Kolmogorov complexity estimation algorithm based on sequence analysis is improved. The new algorithm analyzes the flow in the network and calculates the complexity of the sequence feature set, and detects distributed denial-of-service attacks through the complexity analysis. Simulation results show that the false detection rate and detection time of the proposed algorithm are better than the traditional complexity estimation algorithm.
