Abstract:: In order to improve the nap efficiency for students and office workers and reduce traditional sleepmedical sleep monitor inconvenience to users,an intelligent sleep awake timer was designed using infraredpulse sensor HKG-07A. This instrument realizes the control system using single chip microcomputer only withreal-time monitoring finger pulse signal. The support vector machine (SVM) algorithm was adopted to buildthe database of personal sleep state levels ,then the sleep status was predicted and classified adaptively. Finally,the functions of alarm and wakeing up were realized in combination with timing and voice modules.
