ZnOwith flower·like microspheresstructures assembledby nanosheetswasprepared via the hydrothermal microemulsion route using CTAB/cyclohexane/n-hexanol/zinc acetate dehydrate as raw materials.The hierarchical ZnO microarchitecturewascharacterized by XRD,SEM and UV·vis.The results indicate that the product belongs to hexagonal ZnOwith wurtzite structure,and thediameter ofZnOmicrospheres is about5 Ixm.ZnO microspheres exhibit pore structures with high surface area of 16.5 m2·g~.The hierarchicalZnO microspheres exhibit higherphotocatalytic activity for decolorization ofRhodamineB underultraviolet irradiation than that ofcommercialZnOnanoparticles,which can be attributed to the larger surfaceareaand the spe— cial 3D structural feature of the nanosheets.
