- Abstract:
- Anewtype ofhigh—strength binder for coal for gasification wasprepared using thermoplastic phenolic resin，sodium bentonite，sodiumcarboxymethylcellulose andcorn starch asrawmaterials．The results of the study show that the preferable component content of the binder was thermoplastic phenolic resin 1％．corn starch 7％，sodium carboxymethylcellulose 1％，sodium bentonite 91％．On this basis，the effects of the binderdosage and the molding conditions of briquette on the coldand hot strength of briquette were investiga— ted．When the binder dosage was4％，molding pressure 25 MPa，drying temperature 160℃，the cold and hot strength of briquette could reach823 N a piece and 319 N a piece，which could replace lump coal as in‘ dustrial gasification rawmaterial coal．
