In order to study the influence of temperature on compaction degree,theory density change rule ofMarshall specimens was studied under different temperatures and compaction times.A mixture temperature lostmodel was established based on heat conduction theory to study asphalt mixture heat losing under low tempera-ture,this model was also verified by observation data. The results show that: asphalt mixture was difficult tobe compact to 98% degree under 100 ℃. As thin as the pavement was, the temperature distributed more scat-tered and the compaction become more hard. Thickness of pavement decreases from 10 cm to 4 cm by 2 cmgrads,the effective rolling time decreases by 9.7% ,25% ,24% .
