Phosphaphenanthrene’s derivatives are an important flame retardant materials.A series of new es-ter derivatives of phosphaphenanthrene were prepared by the various acyl chlorides and the intermediate whichwas prepared by phosphaphenanthrene and formaldehyde,and their structures were characterized by 1HNMR13C NMR, 31P NMR、FT - IR\HR - MS and ESI - MS. The influences of catalyst,material ratio,sol-vent,reactants concentration,reaction time and temperature on the reaction were discussed in detail,whilethe reaction process was optimized. The thermal stabilities of the compounds were recorded,and the resultsshow that they have excellent thermal stability. The compounds are potential flame retardant materials.
