Sharp lateral variation of weathering-layer velocity and thickness in complex terrain area can causeserious statics problem. To solve the statics problem of this kind, a method which uses the micro-logging infor-mation to build near-surface model along the variation tendency of subsurface structure is introduced. Thenear-surface model which has been built by the method is inputt as the prior-information of tomography inver-sion method to improve the accuracy of inversion result. The rusults show that the method is available in realexample of seismic data processing.
