- Abstract:
- This paper introduces the ampere-second characteristics of fuses and takes the case of an 110kvsubstation in Henan province to analvze the main reasons of its multi-fuse failure: one is improper parametersincluding small rated current of fuses , low rated voltage of capacitors and big capacity of individual capacitors ;the other is the problem of the relaying protection configuration that the overvoltage protection of capacitorsdoes not function properly, With parameters of fuses and capacitors adjusted and zero sequence overvoltageprotection devices for capacitors installed, improved compensation device has not had any multi-fuse failure inoperation so far.
