In view of the shortage of traditional design methods of highway route,the conception of level curvechanging rate of curve was introduced,the safety assessment standard of level curve changing rate of curvewhich can ensure vehicle stability was proposed according to the relationship between level curve changing rateof curve and traffic accident.Based on this safety assessment standard,the formula for the circle curve lengthof high-grade highway level curve in mining area was investigated by using the design specifications of high-grade highway transition curve and the maximum additional curvature caused by mining.
