Using additive to improve the performance of asphalt mixture is a new technology. The comparisonof strength agent modified asphalt mixture,SBS asphalt mixture and ordinary asphalt mixtures performancetests,the Strength agent enhancement application is obviously superior to SBS modified asphalt mixture.Theexperimental results show that the strength agent can obviously improve the high temperature stability of the as-phalt mixture.Meanwhile,it can enhance other performances of the asphalt mixture,such as low temperatureability and water stability etc. and it is economic also better than the SBS modified asphalt mixture.Researchshows that the strength agent is an effective way to improve the performance of asphalt pavement comprehen-sively.
