Gleeble-3500 thermal simulator was used to test the hot compression set test of Ti-9.8Mo-3.9Nb-2V-3.1Al alloy in the range of room temperature ~ 800 °C, and the strain rate was 0.1 s-1. The results showed that in the range of room temperature ~ 300 °C and 500 ~ 800 °C, the deformation resistance of the alloy decreased with the increase of temperature, but at 300~500 °C, abnormal deformation resistance increased with the increase of temperature. Finally, the influence of thermal compression set behavior on the experimental results is discussed.
