Abstract:: Through the ecological environmental impact assessment of the highway network planning in Henan Province, the ecological service value loss caused by the transformation of natural and semi-natural ecosystems such as forests, grasslands, farmlands and rivers into artificial systems such as transportation facilities during the implementation of the expressway network was analyzed, and the estimation method of ecological service value loss caused by highway construction was proposed, and the results could be used as the basis for ecological compensation.
