Abstract:: The alkylation reaction between chlorinated polypropylene and toluene catalyzed by aluminum chloride (AlCl3) was studied. The infrared spectra showed that an aromatic ring group was attached to the original CPP molecular chain. A series of kinetic data were determined, the kinetic parameters were determined by data fitting, the reaction kinetic model was obtained, and the reliability of the kinetic equation was verified. The compatibility of the modified chlorinated polypropylene with 200# gasoline was improved.
