Based on the experimental study of two groups of six short limb shear wall (SLW) specimens under low cycle repeated loading, the above test wall was numerically analyzed by nonlinear analysis. The strain distribution law of each specimen shows that the strain distribution of a single wall limb basically conforms to the flat section assumption, and the force performance of the T-shaped truncated interview piece is significantly better than that of the one-line truncated interview piece. The calculation of the internal force when the specimen yields shows that the internal force of the left and right wall limbs is not equal. The comparison of the calculation of the internal forces of different specimens accumulates data for the improvement of the structural design method of this type.
