Abstract:: The theory and application of roundness error evaluation are discussed, a mathematical model of roundness error is constructed, and the roundness error is obtained according to the minimum condition by using the substitution algorithm. An example of roundness error evaluation is given, and the results prove that the method has high accuracy and speed. In addition, this evaluation method has strong versatility and can provide a reference for solving other shape errors.
