Taking the preprocessing of images in the grain insect detection system as the research object, the contrast extension enhancement algorithm, neighborhood smoothing algorithm and median filtering algorithm are discussed and analyzed, and it is concluded that contrast extension enhancement can expand the dynamic range of target grayscale, neighborhood smoothing has a good effect on eliminating random noise, while median filtering is effective in removing impulse noise, and specific application examples are given. It can be seen from the experimental results that the selected algorithm can complete the task of system image preprocessing.
