Abstract:: In the process of developing "client/server" applications, it is often necessary to transfer data between databases to co-develop software in different environments in order to take advantage of legacy systems or other types of database data. To this end, two methods of implementing data transfer in PowerBuilder (i.e. through database pipelines and using ingestion and output functions) and their flexible use in practice have proved that these methods are simple, practical and effective
