- Abstract:

Based on a cerlain chassis, an all-wheel steering system is designed by improving its steering sys.tem which is drove by hydraulie power. A three-DOF mathematical model is built for the vehicle and an opli-mal controller is designed for the steering system. "The oplimal eontroller is simulated through this model, com.paring the side-slip angle, yaw rate, body roll angle and body roll angular velocity of the vehicle with the original steering system. The results showed that all-wheel steering system can improve the maneuverability of ve.hicle at low speed and maintain the stability of vehiele at high speed. The results laid a foundation for the de.velopment of all-wheel sleering controller.
